If you want to revamp those blogs, here are some ideas for optimizing older blog posts’ content:

Dress Your Oldest Blog Posts In New Clothes

That is, bring them to life with new formats. This may take more time, but do you know that many people prefer visual content to liven up the texts? This means that many people could be enjoying your content if you shared it more enjoyably. There is a part of your target audience that you are not connecting to yet.

You can utilize the content of the oldest blog posts and turn it into a podcast, slideshow, infographic, or video. You should take into account the content formats that generate the most traffic. This will not only put a new life on older content but also, you can share it on different platforms.

Give Your Posts A New Coat Of Paint

– Create a landing page with your best posts.

– Add a section on your blog where the best or most popular posts are shown.

– Give visibility to your masterpieces in networks with a certain frequency.

Republish The Oldest Blog Posts

Another alternative to getting traffic from older posts is simply by republishing them on other platforms and social media. In this case, you can edit your editorial calendar.

Instead of creating new content daily or posting the posts of the day on networks, you can go back months and make known old posts that can still impact and attract your audience. Of course, make sure that these contents are fully optimized and that their information is up to date.
